  Very friendly, well run. Staying in an ensuite lodge. Could be difficult in winter if you wanted lots of inside space but perfect for us- right on the beach, comfy bed, bar fridge. Not much space for luggage so be organised but well worth it for the price. (Very handy shop at reception too)

  We called in & we're offered the last campsite available, it's a funny site we were told and it be best we look at it first, 105A although it was our decision to take it, like we wouldn't being school holidays, it's a place to lay your head but what they didn't explain was the street light directly above us, it was as if we were sleeping at the space station, there was a disgusting smell of urine & the ground very uneven, sloping. Our experience was less than suitable compared to other sites for the same price. Money grabbing.

  Worst family experience I have had. Knew it would be noisy with being so close to the main street, but the noise within the park was terrible. Travellers within park staying up late, loud and drunk. Don't use toilets at night as you are most likely to see couples hooking up in the toilet/shower. Stairs to beach are not advisable as you walk into a menagerie of bong smoking, spliff smoking and wine swilling scourge. Management or security nowhere to be seen even after advising. Children cost $15 pp and no bikes, ball games allowed nor is there any playground.

  Very friendly and accommodating staff. Amenities were amazing. Large showers and clean toilets. Community kitchen is a great set up. Right on the beach and next door to the pool and main street. Would definitely recommend.

  Stayed for five nights recently to attend a wedding in Byron Bay. We were checked in to our site early which was so helpful to us as we were pushed for time to be ready to attend the wedding. Extremely thankful to the staff for their helpfulness and information on the early check in. We also found the park to be noise free after 9.30pm which does not happen when staying in unit accommodation on the beach front opposite the park land.
