  One of the friendliest cafes in Byron Bay with amazing grub for breakfast, lunch and early dinner. It is run by a family and they serve amazing medium rare steak portions, finger licking good pork burgers, fresh salads and wholesome seafood based meals. They do have good vegan variety and they have almond milk and other dairy substitutes for Beverages. They have outdoor seating, which is lovely in summers and spring. The cafe is in a quaint, quiet corner and popular among surfers and visitors who love Byron bay.

  Gorgeous cafe. With well trained and friendly staff. The food is absolutely delicious. If I could give 6 stars I would. Bayleaf is my home away from home when holidaying in Byron.

  Without a doubt, the most exquisite scrambled eggs I've had in my life - the description doesn't even come close to doing them justice. I've been off eggs for a long time now but these were something else. Lovely staff and even better food.

  This place is crazy popular and there are often waits for tables by the looks of things. The coffee is great and the menu is fresh and healthy. Service is professional and efficient. The food was just ok, nothing special and there are a lot of surcharges (Sunday surcharge, public holiday surcharge plus card payment surcharge).

  Great friendly service! Perfect first impression and second, after a bad experience at a different cafe my partner and I will be combing here for breakfast for the remainder of our and trip. The food is truely something to write home about, I want to try everything on the menu and the range of coffee and tea leaves me constantly wanting more! Great team here, very impressive considering the large numbers coming through.
