  1. Advertised as being refurbished. Maybe 10 yrs ago.. Advertised as new on various websites, the images that are displayed on these websites are not a true representation of what you are getting. False advertising in my mind.

  7. Doors, some of them couldn't be opened as they were rusted through and the fly screens were ill fitting, no point having fly screens if doors won't open. If you wanted some fresh air in your bedroom like I do, tough luck..

  6. ALL Interior walls are filthy and some are splattered with food or whatever it is. Interior and exterior walls need to be repainted, doesn't look like it's been painted in a LONG time.

  My partner and i enjoyed our accommodation however the main reason for leaving a review was our appreciation of BBA for helping and guiding us through the process. It can be difficult and confusing at times finding accomodation in a place you don't know well and they took their time with us with the result being a lovely experience all up!

  Great company to deal with. Good communication. Responded quickly to any questions and provided clear instructions. The apartment we booked wss wonderfully spacious, very clean,in an excellent spot and with a well equipped kitchen. Would definitely stay again and book through these guys.

  2. Advertised as having polished wooden floors. In the photos on the websites there are beautiful polished wooden floors until they put the carpet in. Carpet was appalling, filthy and smelt, they need to be cleaned from time to time.

  10. My biggest complaint is maintenance people, they arrived to mow the lawns. This is just NOT on. When a property is rented out maintenance people should maintain the property BEFORE guests arrive OR AFTER guests have left NOT while guests are there..You pay for your privacy. It's unheard of..

  4. Curtains are ill fitting, old dusty and dirty and are falling off the curtain rods. Curtain rods are rusting.

  9. Outdoor furniture was covered in bird poo.Yeah ok you can't blame the birds but these things need to be looked at and should have been cleaned before guests arrive.

  3. Don't advertise it as a classic five bedroom house when one of the rooms is a walk through and has a bunk bed, No privacy, so it's not really a fifth bedroom. No wonder they don't show it on their websites.

  Our extended family stayed at 'The Blue House' in Byron Bay for our son's wedding recently. The property suited us perfectly as each of the 4 bedrooms had bathrooms. Upon arrival our high expectations were exceeded. The house was spotlessly clean and mostly well equipped. The outdoor areas are extensive and well appointed. 'Blue House' is a short walk to Byron Bay centre and suited us very well. Amanda was very attentive to our needs. Highly recommended.

  We had a 5 night stay at Byron by the Beach. Perhaps its a good idea for Byron Bay Accom to view the property before advertising it.

  5. Mould on the ceiling in the lounge room. Health hazard in itself.
